Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I've just googled Ireland in hopes of finding something inspiring about this gayest of holidays and discovered that there is an apparent shortage of shamrocks in Ireland this year. Something tells me that won't put much of a damper on any festivities. According to wikipedia, the source from which I've learned everything I know in life, some rivers are dyed green in honor of the day. Today I'm sporting my ridiculous sequined bow that I found in the dollar section of Target last week. I'm still mourning my decision to forgo the shimmery green bowler, but life goes on...

Learn to Forgive and Set Yourself Free

So, I've been getting near daily emails from an emotional health website for more than a year now. I don't know how I got signed up for such a newsletter, but I haven't yet unsubscribed because firstly the topics are sometimes interesting ('How to Journal Your Way to Health' anyone?), and secondly if some cyber force out there felt strongly enough that I might benefit from a daily emotional boost who am I to argue? Anyways, today's message is I think the most bizarre one yet: "Celebrities without makeup: Do they boost your self-esteem?"

On another note, I'm currently well into the second installment of the SciFi channels 'Tin Man' on Netflix. I'll admit that I was drawn to it almost purely due to my ongoing lady-crush on Zooey Deschanel (really, who doesn't love her?) but I expected it to be rather silly and have poor special effects and acting to match. Now the special effects are lacking to be sure and the story is definitely a bit assinine, but I am quite enjoying it overall. If anyone out there is viewing this besides me and my dog (and I'm beginning to doubt old Larry's ability to offer articulate opinions), have you seen this miniseries? If so, what did you think? In my experience, expectations are everything. My expectations were low, and thus I was more inclined to be pleasantly surprised.
